FRIENDS OF DOUNBY SCHOOL (FODS)
This organisation was created as an informal way in which parents could become involved in the school. Over the years its help has been invaluable in fundraising activities, sports day, organising transport and supervision on school and class outings and in many other ways.
FODS consists of a volunteer parent representative from every class with new members being appointed at the start of each school year.
We are very lucky to have supportive parents who, as well as their involvement with their own children, are prepared to share their time and skills for the benefit of other children in the school. We are always grateful for help with projects, concerts and extra curricular activities.
